Municipal Heritage Committee

That Item 10.2 - Reporting of Action Items be added to the Agenda.

That the Municipal Heritage Committee approve the minutes of March 19, 2025, as presented.

That the Committee move into a Closed to Public Session in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001 (2) (b) personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

That the Committee arise from the Closed to Public Session and resume the Regular Committee Meeting.

That Diane Huber be selected as the 2025 Heritage Conservation Award program recipient.

That a Jane's Walk sub-committee be formed and consist of Neil Menage, Frances Barrick, and Cheryl Grace; and That the sub-committee will report back to the Committee with their recommendations at a subsequent meeting.

That a Port Elgin Walking Tour sub-committee be formed consisting of Merri Fergusson, Neil Menage and Mike Myatt; and That the sub-committee will report back to the Committee with their recommendations at a subsequent meeting.

That the Committee approve the outlined activities and partnerships and initiate planning and coordination with community partners, including Saugeen First Nation and local event organizers, to execute the proposed awareness initiatives for 2025.

That this Municipal Heritage Committee meeting of April 16th, 2025 hereby adjourns at 6:28 p.m.
